On Friday, September 2, 2011, DMPulse received our 501c3 designation from the Internal Revenue Service. If you've been listening to DMPulse for the last 16 months or reading our weekly e-newsletter, you've heard me discuss working to receive this designation.
What it means to DMPulse and to you is donations to DMPulse Media are tax deductible on your United States income tax return. In the same way donations to charities like The Red Cross, United Way, Animal Rescue League or to a college or university are deductible, now any donation made to DMPulse after July 11, 2011 is tax deductible!
The idea to become a non-profit was hatched nearly two years ago from the results of a DMPulse listener survey. Now, we are finally fully where I envisioned we would best be able to ensure a strong future for DMPulse!
But ensuring DMPulse continues to bring you great music will mean we need your help.
